Our Mission

The Hackney Borough - Wide Leaseholder and Freeholder Forum (the Forum) is a recognized body created on 1 July 2006 to facilitate the views, concerns and interests of Leaseholders and Freeholders who pay service charges to Hackney Homes Ltd and Hackney Council.

Independent Representation

We are an independent body, funded by member subscription.  As such we deal directly with Hackney Homes Ltd, The Mayor’s Office, Hackney Council and our Members of Parliament, in order to address matters that effect Leaseholders & Freeholders in the Borough.

As an independent group of local people, we are not the same as the newly formed Leaseholder Advisory Group (LAG) .  The LAG has been set up and is run by Hackney Homes Ltd!  However, in order to better represent Hackney home owners, we do sit on the LAG.
